Man of the the house could not understand how a circle could turn into a sleevless vest so I put it up against myself and he said I looked like a turtle from the back! It is coming along very quickly but I am completely off the pattern now scribbling little notes in a pretty notebook inbetween wrapping it around myself.
Progress so far:
Hope you have all clocked my flowery Doctor Martens. Bloke gave them to me for my 40th Birthday and said you are never too old for a new pair of DM's. You gotta love him!
The longer pieces at the top go under your armpits and then I need to make a back panel to go on the straight edge. Getting excited...
