Wide leg trousers made with dark chambray. Everything in my wardrobe, when held up to these trousers, worked for me. It was like having 'work' jeans.
Coloured tops - tick |
They have a darted front and back and an invisible side zip - so comfy but with the crease in the front, so smart too.
Flowery top - tick
Marble printed silk top - tick
It is Friday, I am done in with work, family, feeding everybody, remembering birthdays and laundry. Last weeks refashioned strawberry represents how I feel right now! I need the weekend.
Jo xxxx
What a great wardrobe fixer! Enjoy the weekend lovely! Bee xx
ReplyDeleteDon't you love it when it all comes together? Your strawberry looks even more like the old muppet man on the balcony this week. Hope you get a restful weekend. x
ReplyDeleteLovely trousers! I also love your shoes!
ReplyDeleteGreat wardrobe fix, and from a free pattern too.
ReplyDeleteFantastic!!!! Does that mean that you aren't sewing anything else now!! I hope not! Poor strawberry, I hope that you make a better recovery from your weariness than he is going to! xx
ReplyDeleteJo you make me die! so wish you lived nearer....D x
ReplyDeletePs great fixing....such a good idea!
( from a fellow jeans wearer...)
You crack me up! That strawberry says it all! I think it should be a regular feature here on your blog! And those trouser jeans are so my speed! I love the wide leg and how they look with all of your tops! Wishing you an outstanding weekend! Nicole xo
ReplyDeleteNice troujeans!!;) No wonder you need fresh strawberries now, sure the weekend will get you pep up :) Looking forward to see what's on your strawberrymeter on Monday;)
ReplyDeleteI know just how that strawberry feels. Your trousers are lovely and such a good fit. Well done on another successful creation.
ReplyDeleteI had a blue chambray skirt which I made - it was quite light though, and like you I found it went with everything. I loved it so much! I know it was made from either a prima or essentials magazine pattern but I don't know where either the skirt or the pattern is now. I think they were lost in a move. I think your trousers are fabulous, and look comfortable, smart and useful. Perfect to wear at work. And of course out of it too.
ReplyDeleteThe not quite jeans are looking very good. Loving their ability to go with anything, an essential addition to any wardrobe. I hope you feel better than the strawberry soon!
ReplyDeleteFunny I feel exactly the same way after college orientation, three days a work and a lost phone. Now I have a stinking cold, I need a slow morning and that is exactly what I have. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE those pants. Brilliant!
