Oh black thingy go away and turn yourself into a fabulous cardigan I reach for all the time because it goes with everything. Where are those pesky elves when you need them? making leather shoes for Mary I shouldn't wonder.
I really, really, wanty, want it. Please send me good knitting vibes, or an elf, before I go out of my mind!
Jo x
Jo set yourself a goal for everyday I.e. 10 or 20 rows a day then put it down and do something else. The pesky item keeps moving forward and you get to do other nicer things. It worked for me.
ReplyDeleteBlack is such a tough color to deal with, but it will be amazing when it is done. I am sending you good vibes for a strong finish.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Meredith
It's too dark to work with black. I'll send you the mobile number for the elves, but they're quite busy, so don'y be surprised if they're busy until March.
ReplyDeleteI've only crocheted tiny things with black and that was hard enough. I hope you at least have a very sunny window and a lot of coffee, in case the elves get lost on the way.
ReplyDeleteSometimes you just want things to be done don't you! xx
ReplyDeleteJust think how much you'll love it when it's done.
ReplyDeleteI am sending you one of my spare elves.
ReplyDeletedump it and make a cream one, or white. They go with anything too. Years ago I worked in the knitwear industry. I was a collar linker. When we had box loads of black to do we hated it.( mainly for Marks and Sparks) Doing the samples was bad enough!
ReplyDeleteI should have done ages ago but I am on the last sleeve now so onwards and upwards.
DeleteSending you good creative vibes my friend!! I have no doubt that you will have success!!! Happy Thursday!! Nicole xo
ReplyDeleteTell them to hurry up with those shoes!
ReplyDeleteI'm cheering you on, Jo! Your photo of sunlight streaming in is a good image to keep in mind as you finish! [On the arm of my favorite Morris chair recliner I put my Ott lamp I got on a half price sale years ago. It really helps me see and cheers me on :)] xx
