Too simple

I bought this pattern at the Minerva meet up in June because I thought it would be great for using up smaller pieces of fabric from my stash but the title Simple Sew actually means the top was so simple it was a bit shapeless. I added some bust darts and some waist shaping along the side seams and it is much better.

I wore it to our local agricultural show today and it was comfy all day but allowed for some upper arm tanning.

Button back with Peter Pan collar. Size 12 used 1 metre of cotton from myfabrics.co.uk from this pattern:

A very wearable summer top.

Hope you are getting some sunshine. Thanks for calling in.
