Nearly a coco...but not.

I have had this tunic cut out for a while now. It looks like Tilly's coco dress but I had a pattern for this one in my Ottobre magazine way before the coco was released so I cut one out. Cocked it up because I cut it as the t-shirt size instead of the longer version. Made leggings for Big sis with it to save waste fabric. Then cut out another one. That is the short story!

The pattern is called Autumn Mood and is from Ottobre 5/2013. The fabric is a ribbed knit with a little stretch but not too much as too go walkies under the machine. It is really easy to make and I think I will try a patterned one too later in the year.

I made a short sleeved version and ordered some grey boots this morning to put aside for my Autumn wardrobe. I am a teeny bit in love with grey at the moment - more to come on that one.

Todays fruit and veg is the last of the gooseberries and broad beans but MORE courgettes and green beans to come.

Thanks for looking.

  4. A real delight, you look stunning in your new tunic, it suits you. Impressed with the garden harvest, the courgettes and broad beans have come to an end in our garden but we have a real bounty of tomatoes at the moment, I intend to make some chutney.
