CAL blanket update

Just a quick one today because we are up to our eye balls redecorating by trying to do it in the evening while the children are in bed so here is a little photo update on my wedding present blanket which is coming along a treat and actually keeping me warm at the same time!!

This sturdy stitch is 1 double crochet, then 1 treble, 1 dc, 1tr over and over again. It looks a bit knobbly and messy at first but as you do more it starts to show a pattern - satisfying.

Linking in with Chrissie today for the CAL.

Happy Days Jo xx

  2. That will be a lovely warm blanket. I will remember that stitch as I prefer it to holey blankets.

  8. Hi Jo love the look of the blanket - is it a row of dc and then a row of tr or are you alternating the stitch along the row - sorry if I'm being a bit daft x

    1. You alternate each one then on the next row the trebles go into the dc and the dc goes into the trebles. Make Sense??
