The yarn is Millamia and it is super soft yarn, just
perfect for hands.
The hearts are from Sue at sweetpea family, she sent them last week in my giveaway parcel, I just loved them and wanted to use them straight away before they got lost.
I made the pattern as I went but them realised I had made two left handed ones - anyone else done that??
You may be experiencing right now, or remember when your child dressed themselves and thought they looked great in their own choice. She thought so today in a breton cardigan, red collared t-shirt, purple leggings, denim skirt and fingerless gloves!
Those fingerless gloves are beautiful and those hearts are divine. A wonderful combination.
ReplyDeleteI love how they came out. The hearts are a perfect touch. I have to admit that I'm looking forward to my daughter wanting to choose her clothes independently. She can dress herself just fine, and does it every day, but she always wants me to choose the outfit, then I have to admire it after she puts it on. :)
ReplyDeleteThe gloves look so cosy...and I love a youngen with her own style.
ReplyDeleteThe gloves and the hearts are a perfect match, and ouch to skippy rope injuries

My 6 yr. old granddaughter has similar taste in High Fashion, Jo :) The mitts are pretty and practical! xx
ReplyDeleteHi Jo I'm thrilled the little hearts came in handy - I think your little treasures fashion sense is spot on - I love the gloves such a good idea. Hope you have a good week.

Those gloves are beautiful Jo, well done, and the hearts are a lovely finishing touch! I love her sense of fashion - I have been known to wear red shoes and carry a purple handbag and always say, "hey, when you get to my age you can do whatever you like!" Yes! Joy xo
ReplyDeleteI am totally jealous Joy!
DeleteThose are just gorgeous! Wonderful pattern - love the hearts - and Millamia yarn is just soooo soft and lovely! Chrissie x
ReplyDeleteThe gloves are just gorgeous Jo and sound very practical for their purpose. I like your girls choice of outfit! My girl chose her own outfit on Sunday and wore a cat costume, with a cape, a pair of deely boppers and stripy wellies...good thing we weren't going out anywhere.
