Hooray! Spring infinity scarf

Here is my second infinity scarf. I made it from 100g of cotton so the yardage was really short compared to 100g of DK.

This time I tried it with alternate colours to see the effect. It works up really well in the sedge stitch.

I could only get 8 rows instead of 18 so it turned out too thin. I don't unravel much, I tend to kind of adapt instead. The only time I would unwind is if I had bought the wool myself and I really liked it. So I bought some trim as a rescue remedy.

Isn't that pretty? It has a bit more of a spring feel than the purple sparkly one. Definitely one for the Spring/Summer wardrobe I think, when my white trousers make an appearance.

Now, you all know I hate to put scraps back in the basket so I made some flowers with the lengths that would not make a full round on the scarf. I glued them onto a ring I had already covered months ago with other scraps.

Crochet Happy today. I am off to check out more CAL links.
Thanks for stopping by. Jo x

  9. I love your wreath, it is so pretty and a great use of your ends. Your scarf is very pretty too and I like the addition of the trim as it makes it a little different from a straightforward scarf. xx
