When skills are needed...

Sometimes I think I have lots of skills but I don't really use them for anything important but yesterday I used most of the skills I have learnt over a lifetime. My Dad and his French partner got married and we only knew about it 10 days ago! so I made...

Hair pieces for the girls and their cousin.

A Button hole for my dad and male guests.

Floral arrangements at dad's house.

Cheesecake and meringue for dessert.

A bridal bouquet.

A bow tie for Chantal's grandson.

Layed up a wedding table for 20.

Used my handwriting tutorial to write the name cards.

I dredged up some French to talk to Chantal's family.

Finally, I made them a wedding card.

That is flower arranging, sewing, paper crafting, handwriting, cooking and showing my family a whole lot of love.

So you know my tag line is that I make something everyday, well I helped make my dad and Chantal very happy today!

  18. The meringue dessert is called Pavlova here in Australia, and has fresh cream between the meringue and fruit.
