The girls share a room on the top floor.
Big Sis has lots of handmade things on her side, a dolls house made by my uncle, the decopatch chair I did for reading stories and a pink blanket from my Auntie.
Little Sis has a dolls house too made by bloke's brother and a little blanket made by same said Auntie
I made the bunting which is long it is a huge room.
Little collections of hanging things - a santa sign that hangs up all year round made by my friend and a 'buttons' card mobile made by Big Sis from an activity book.
Finally they have a knitted doll each made by another Auntie and drawers full of clothes made by me and my mum.
What a crafty family we are!
Hope that helps Nicole. Keep looking for those thrifty finds! Jo x
What a lovely room you have made for your girls Jo, I bet they love it. The dolls houses are gorgeous. I can see the influence of the same styles and tastes that Nicole likes, you obviously both have very good taste and a great sense of style! xx

ReplyDeleteOH JO!!!!!!! You are AWESOME!!!! I am blown away by this room! It is literally exactly what I am striving for in their room!!!! It is amazing...and I am just chuckling because the groupings above the beds is just what I imagine for their space!! The bunting, and the little chair for the dolls....and the dollhouse! All of the hand made touches just...well...there are no words for how special this space is! And I LOVE the wardrobe between the beds! Oh how I wish our space was large enough. It gives a bit of privacy for each girl! How blessed you all are to have so much creativity in your family! That is a special thing...and I am so touched that you thought of me with this post! You made my day with the shout out!!!! I am pinning this to my Pinboard right now!!! Have a lovely day friend! Nicole xoxo

What a sweet girlie room. I wish my daughter was still at that age, her walls are now plastered with posters out of Kerrang magazine, her desk is full of art work and I have forgotten what her floor looks like! Her dolls house has been banished to the spare room too. One day when I have a grand daughter I will be able to convert the room back to its feminine side! xx
ReplyDeleteI don't know how I missed this gorgeous post, but I did!!! Your girls share such a beautiful room Jo, and I love everything about it - it's so very well organised and filled with such fantastic crafty goodies - they must love it! Well done to all of you! Warm hugs, Joy xo
