This Noro yarn is pretty darn good. Knits up well, the colour runs are really effective and I am just in the knitting groove, whiling away the evenings, pondering, wondering but mostly knitting in a spiral. Top down knitwear just lends itself to mindless knitting and TV watching. Few more rows tonight watching the Strictly Come Dancing final with my twirly girlies.
Getting close to the moss stitch border. Hope all your preparations are coming along, I have sort of peeked too soon... Hence the endless enjoyable knitting. Jo x
That is a lovely yarn. I saw it in a "posh" wool shop this week and couldn't resist stroking it.
ReplyDeleteHello Lovely Joy, do envy you the knitting - I am now like a maniac running around the house getting prepared - family arriving tomorrow for a meal so lots to do beforehand, why did I let time run through my fingers - I say this every year and never ever learn. Love the knitting though Jo I have knitted with this yarn many years ago and really loved the feel of it, your finished garment will be gorgeous. Enjoy the twirling on the TV and have fun. Lots of love and big hugs.

That yarn looks scrummy, it's chaos here so much to do at least the tree finally went up today, but of course all things have to stop for Strictly :)

I sat and crocheted through the Strictly final tonight - gosh it was good!! Your jumper/top is looking great and I love the way, as you said the colours go from one to the next. It looks lovely. Happy Christmas to you and yours. xx
ReplyDeleteoh, I'm in love with Noro yarn too. The colourways are all so delicious it's hard to choose just one!
ReplyDeleteIt looks gorgeous! And well done you for being so organized ahead of schedule! I was madly finishing binding a quilt which now needs to be washed, dried and wrapped today, whilst watching Strictly last night :-)
ReplyDeleteGot to get some knitting sorted for our road trip to Scotland tomorrow though too - can't drive all that way without a project in tow. Wishing you & your family a very Merry Christmas and all the best for the new year ahead. Love Gilly xx
This looks lovely and as I haven't seen Noro yarn in the flesh so to speak I shall have to put this on my list of must see/feel when I am next in a wool shop. Have a lovely Christmas.
