I had a go at the one from Made K-Town by Barbara. It was really easy and quite enjoyable do do while we watched TV late last night.
I used stylecraft yarns and maybe that red was just some DK from a donated bag.
So I have a Mandala to send to Lucy at Attic 24 for Yarndale and a website to send my crocheters to make a mandala. Just need some cake now and that sounds like it is going to be a promising morning to look forward to on Wednesday.
Peace to you this Sunday. Jo xxxxx
Very pretty, I keep seeing Mandalas over Blogland and keep saying I'm going to make one. After seeing yours I'm going to try and get one done this week. Deb x
ReplyDeleteI think cake would be very nice.
ReplyDeleteI asked my son to pick me up some tea cakes (the toasting variety) yesterday and he came home with doughnuts. Strange!!!
I keep thinking about attempting a Mandala but I can't decide on what colours to choose.
hugs
It looks very pretty, I see them everywhere but I am afraid its just not for me. I do like the idea of cake though. Have a lovely Sunday.
ReplyDeleteThat is a very pretty mandala, your class will love making them in different colours! I wonder if you'll ever make another, now that you've crossed over to the mandala side...cx
ReplyDeleteOooh love it! I should make Yarndale a mandala too, they look really fun to do but I can't see a use for them in my own home (yet)! x
ReplyDeleteI still don't think I will go mandala crazy, my group forced me into a corner but I have no idea what I am going to do with it!! Thanks for calling in folks. Jo x
ReplyDeleteHaha I have managed to resist so far. I even got so far as buying some cotton to have ago but then started on another WIP with the said yarn so still not made a Mandala yet but I can see it happening very soon.
ReplyDeleteThat is a gorgeous mandala Jo. Great colours.

Im not really a mandala girl, but im liking yours its so pretty ♡
ReplyDeleteI keep saying I'm going to do one but need to get a scoot on! Yours is absolutely lovely.
ReplyDeleteIt's really pretty, Jo. I might eventually do one, but just haven't gotten the bug badly enough yet. I'd love to send one to Yarndale but it's going to be so expensive. Might have to make one for me instead.
ReplyDeleteI love it, very pretty with excellent colors. I have not succumbed yet, but I am sure getting tempted.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Meredith
It's lovely Jo, can't wait to see all the mandala's on display at Yarndale. Have a great week, Sarah xo
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the dark side! :-)
ReplyDeleteHappy new week,
xx
Still waiting to succumb myself... your mandala is very pretty Jo and your crochet class will love making their own versions. I hope you had a lovely weekend! x
ReplyDeleteYour mandala is lovely Jo, I hope that your class enjoy making them!! xx
ReplyDeletePretty! I have not succumbed yet, but I belive It's a matter of time ! Have a nice week!:::Silvia
ReplyDeleteI haven't started one yet as I know as soon as I do that will be it for summer, crocheting away! I love the colours that you have used, so bright and vivid. Take care x
ReplyDeleteWell, I am glad you succumbed Jo as it looks fabulous! The colours go great together. :)
ReplyDeleteWell it is lovely Jo and I'm sure your class will be grateful that you finally succumbed but I also understand you not feeling the need to do any more; I'm like that with a lot of projects, it's almost like once I've proved to myself that I can do something then I'm free to move on to something else. Not so with mandalas, having made up four of them now, but I'm not really 'grabbed' by them! Have a lovely week, xoJoy
ReplyDeleteLovely colours Jo :-)
