This time I tried it with alternate colours to see the effect. It works up really well in the sedge stitch.
I could only get 8 rows instead of 18 so it turned out too thin. I don't unravel much, I tend to kind of adapt instead. The only time I would unwind is if I had bought the wool myself and I really liked it. So I bought some trim as a rescue remedy.
Isn't that pretty? It has a bit more of a spring feel than the purple sparkly one. Definitely one for the Spring/Summer wardrobe I think, when my white trousers make an appearance.
Now, you all know I hate to put scraps back in the basket so I made some flowers with the lengths that would not make a full round on the scarf. I glued them onto a ring I had already covered months ago with other scraps.
