I loved the style of this post and now I feel terrible because I can't remember which blog I saw it on to credit them. If it is you or you know who it is, please let me know. I stole it, I love it and now I can't share it.
This is a wonderful format for a post, and a delightful way to start catching up with you since I last commented on January 30, 2017. I have loved reading through your posts since then, watching you hone your creative skills and admire the skill of others, too. I am especially smitten with your use of buttons...the stunning cowl and clever decorative touches on other projects. The iPad case you made for your mom is so practical and a great use of your practice knitting pieces and felted jumpers! I flew in from Burbank, CA, last night after another good visit with family and have much to do to catch up with what I did not do while gone. As I get my bearings I look forward to being creatively cheered on by your posts and hope to eventually post again myself. Love to you and yours, Jo. xx
ReplyDeleteI like the style of this post too! it was interesting to read. The flowers look so lovely I would want to be outside too to admire them.
ReplyDeleteI don't know who did it either, I like it too... I like the sound of lime tray bake!! sounds delish.
ReplyDeleteI have read quite a few posts like yours, there is maybe nobody to credit for. I really like this kind of post, so many lovely Jo things in one go! You are truly enjoying life! I can recommend the family dog. Getting Jack was the best thing we did since having the kids. I love his company and his unwavering love and he keeps my feet warm in the evenings, too. xx
ReplyDeleteP.S. I have been trying to source that chalk marker you showed a few days ago - no luck. If you could ask your bloke to drop me a line with the link, I'd be eternally grateful.
Thank you Jo, I ordered the last one. A good chalk makes marking on knit fabric easier! xx
DeleteI think it's a popular posting style and a lot of people have done it...don't worry. :) I still can't get over your bathroom, it's so big and bright. I *love* that color on the wall, personally, so you have my vote not to change it!
ReplyDeleteWe do have a large bathroom, you could have a disco in it! The colour is called warm terracotta and is growing on me when the sun shines in there in the morning. Jo x
DeleteJo DO NOT CHANGE THE COLOUR IN THE BATHROOM I LOVE IT.
ReplyDeleteEnjoying your blog.
ReplyDeleteLove the post and your bathroom looks great :)

I enjoyed reading your post and its style:)
ReplyDeleteThis post is as refreshing as the change of season , thank you , got me thinking what responses I would give to all your questions.
ReplyDeleteI'm off outside ...
That is funny Emma, because that is exactly what happened to me when I read this post style somewhere else. I started thinking, 'what would I say?'
DeleteSuch a lovely post Jo! Lots to read, see and enjoy here.
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend.

I like the style of that too, very to the point. xx
ReplyDeleteI love posts like these and often do similar - the use of verbs or "ing" way of rounding up lots of random thoughts neatly always pleases me! I also dislike the news, but I like everything else going on in your post Jo.
ReplyDeleteAs for getting a dog - even though our mutt is a handful in so many ways and I've never done so much hoovering - it is, without doubt, one of the best things we've ever done as a family and that four legged terror enriches our lives every single day. The only downside I can think of is fitting in walks/doglife around work - I am starting to think about career choices five to ten years ahead and am conscious that working full time might be tricky - but for now, with me working 11-4 every day, it's ok. xx
