To crochet a skirt - Awesome and I wear it a lot too.
To knit something for my bloke that was not a hat - A bit big but cosy nonetheless.
To master double pointed needles - I made my first pair of socks.
To make a double bed scrappy quilt - Which I love every time I look at it.
My 2016 pledges are:
- To learn how to Sew a bra
- To Crochet something beautiful to wear
- To complete another quilt
- To learn to knit stranded Nordic style
Of course I will always get side tracked; make my own clothes, make things out of nothing to recycle and sample up little projects for my classes. I will also continue the challenge of making things from Minerva and White Tree products as well as continuing my third year of successful vintage pattern pledges with Maria over at stitching odyssey.
I hope that you will continue to join me this year on the crafting roller coaster we all love to ride. Your support, comments, blogs and friendship have been a constant inspiration. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Happy New Year and what are your crafting resolutions for 2016?

Well done on your successes in 2015 and good luck with you your list for 2016. I like that you have picked four very different projects, I would love to learn to knit socks but I am trying to focus on completing some of my works in progress.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your skirt! Look forward to seeing your 2016 makes. I'm determined to finish my granny square blanket this year...had it on the go for about three years to my shame, but as you say it's easy to get side tracked.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year.
Good luck with your crafting goals for the new year, it looks like a good one. I enjoyed seeing all your crafty work throughout the year and have been inspired by you lots. Happy New Year to you and your family. xx
ReplyDeleteOf course we will join you, where else would we be? I love your goals, mine are just to get that darn Flaum done and a few more things, no big expectations, nothing to challenging just to find the time to knit would be miracle enough.
ReplyDeleteHugs to you and Happy New Year,
Meredith

Best wishes for the New Year, I will definitely be joining you on your creative journey.
ReplyDeleteJo, you are an absolutely bloody marvel! Is there anything you can't do? If you weren't so lovely and funny I'd feel really crap about my own inabilities but instead I want to cheer you on and see what you make next. Seriously, I love seeing what you'd made (and often seemingly out of nothing!) and you inspire me all the time. Happy new crafting year to you lovely. xx
