Hooray! Summer wrap

This month I have made a summer wrap from my Minerva products. The kit contains yarn, hook and pattern.

A lovely daisy/granny pattern that once set is easy to follow. You will need Five balls of Sirdar Click DK to make this wrap. As a guide, I did a pattern repeat of grannys/daisies a night so it took me about 12-14 nights to make it.

How would you wear yours?

The kit contains the yarn pattern and hook.

I chose the wrap but I could be giving the other one a go soon.
(I have some Noro leftover and you know I don't like to hoard stash). Summer is here, some days, but with the UK's unpredictable weather we will always need a pretty cover up.

We leave today for a week on the Norfolk broads in a boat with my wrap to keep off the chill. Might just pop a waterproof in too! See you in a week.

Happy Crochet. Thanks Minerva. Jo xx

  10. It's beautiful, Jo. I think it looks really good pinned at your shoulder as in the photo. Have a great trip. :)

  11. Very pretty! And, it's very similar to one I made last summer in pretty much the same color. The pattern I used was the "DIamond Flowers Scarf" in a large shawl/wrap size. I love wraps like this....they're so fun to make and to wear. Enjoy! :-)

  12. I love this! I cannot believe how quickly you did it too. Hmmm, I think I would wear it like the first photo...although I like it pinned at the shoulder too.Actually, I have just looked again and I would probably wear it in a different style each day - it's a wrap that looks great no matter how it is worn. I love the colour :)

  13. Just enjoyed your posts for the last four weeks, Jo, and with all of your activity and productivity I am so glad that you are off enjoying a break from your busy routine! The scarf is beautiful and versatile and I can imagine you wearing it any of the ways you showed. I was so excited to see you spent a night at the cabin! And I'm glad you are still enjoying your dress-up costumes and dancing. Your sewing and crochet projects have been diverse and I especially like your fruit baggie. Very clever of you to make candles with your girlies. I have fond memories of making candles with my mom on a number of occasions, and hope your girls will as well with
    you.xx

  17. Lovely Jo this is just gorgeous, can it be so easy? I am not sure that my talents are up to this yet but I would love to have a go. I adore the colour and drape of it and it is so useful. You are so clever Jo - sorry I have not popped over to see you so much lately, hopefully work will be a little quieter for a while and I can come and visit you every post. Have a wonderful weekend Jo, big hugs, Dorothyxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
