Using up a few leftovers and gifting to a friend. Nothing purchased all found in the house: keyring, stuffing, string, yarn and a hook
A nice little project to fiddle with in the evening, maybe just in time for Valentines day.
The pattern can be found here.
Still not bought any craft items in 2017. Whoop!
Thanks for popping by. Jo x
Such a thoughtful and thrifty gift! I hope your friend loves it!
ReplyDeleteHow funny, I have also just made a heart for a friend :) Yours is lovely :)

Very sweet, Jo. I'm proud of you for not buying any craft items so far this year. I've bought two balls of yarn, a worsted acrylic and a cotton. I did use most of the cotton ball, so that's not too bad. That's what I'm telling myself. :)
ReplyDeleteWell done you for not buying anymore craft things. Sadly I cannot say the same despite the promise to myself that I wouldn't. Beautiful heart.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful little heart Jo. It's great to use up bits and pieces around the house to make things and is often extra inspiring!

Lovely! I might give it a go... although it looks more complicated than my usual makes.
ReplyDeleteSo thoughtful and sweet.
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely gift, your friend must be pleased. I should take a page out of your book, my craft materials pile is out of control.

ReplyDeleteThat's very pretty and a lovely gift. Great for using what you already had in the house.
